Hi, I’m Colleen.
From a very young age, I’ve had the desire to embrace change that heals, to question stale systems and to reprogram outdated narratives. But, I felt this tension between my soul calling me to pursue this unknown space, and the systems I grew up in that demanded I “fall in line”.
I ultimately made a choice that differed from the conditioning of my upbringing and became a Dance Artist. I credit the power of dance as the initiatory medicine connecting me to my intuition. To me, dance is a conversation with the Divine, a means of meeting essence at the root of everything.
While dance opened up a world of infinite possibility, I still struggled with self-worth issues and feeling like I always needed to try so hard to be worthy of belonging or love. I pushed and punished myself all the way to burnout and breaking points. I would get injured or sick and feel like there was something wrong with me because of my humanness.
When a serious injury prevented me from dancing for months, I faced the fact that I had over-relied on my “dancer identity”. I had hardly given myself permission to explore that sacred unknown space which had been critical to my calling to dance in the first place. In this new unknown space, I found myself drawn to spirituality and healing arts that brought delight and pleasure into my day to day life.
I dove deep into Mystic inquiry – Astrology, Tarot, Meditation, Yoga, Animal Medicine and more. I felt moved by these practices in the same way that dancing moved me.
As my body healed and my relationship with spirit became pleasurable, my dance practice was naturally invigorated. I intuitively cultivated classes that emphasized tuning into instinctive animal care, the elements, breath, presence, play and self acceptance.
I began to understand that dance is an essentially human practice and therefore universal. We all have bodies and therefore we all dance. I remembered how dancing has the power to connect us with our essence.
Where Source Code Comes in…
When I was introduced to Source Code, I felt the pieces come together.
Source Code is unconscious reprogramming work where we meet the algorithms that have been running our lives in order to rewrite them. Source Code is, essentially, shadow work that is gentle. We feel these energies fully without trying to fix or change them. When these old wounds are mirrored and felt fully, they can dissolve and make way for our true essence.
Through this work, I realized how I had been avoiding essential parts of myself. I was amazed to find that what I once called my biggest fears turned out to be a portal to my greatest strengths.
Coding has taught me that our capacity to heal and evolve already lives within each and every one of us. As someone who had been trying so hard all my life, I was delighted to discover how much power we have when we allow ourselves to lovingly just be with the energetics of the wound and make way for our essence to emerge.
My work as a Dance Artist, Mystic and Source Code Practitioner all weave together in my work as an Embodiment Guide. In 1:1 sessions, Source Code is the central modality utilized, but as the old wounds fall away, I intuitively weave in additional practices as a means to integrate the new world.
As a guide, I hold space with reverence, slowness, and gentleness. I create a solid sense of safety for my clients by cultivating sacred spaciousness. I believe that it is within this stillness and profound presence that each of us can meet our true selves and birth a new world.
At the end of the day, I believe every single one of us already contains all that we need to heal. It is my job to help you meet your own power, to help you meet your own essence so that you can live your life fully embodied.
